The Imperial - Lancaster

Went for Brunch today at 11:30am. Very limited food options. The food was not very warm or fresh. We had to go find our server who was just hanging out at the bar inside to get refills, our table cleared, etc. (at one point there were 4 plates and 2 glasses piled up on our table before I had to request they be removed). They were out of Sugar Splenda for my ice tea and Plain Bagels. The omelet maker added salt and pepper to my omelet without asking if I wanted it (it made the omelet inedible) ? The shrimp cocktail caused me major stomach disturbances. The table next to us left after their singular trip through the buffet. THEN... they had the nerve to automatically include a 20% gratuity onto our bill. We are generous tippers BUT we didn't get 20% worthy service. I guess when you KNOW your tip is guaranteed, why give good service?! The sun became really bright and hot overhead and NO ONE offered to re-seat us somewhere else (only 5 other tables were taken at the time on the entire terrace). I will NEVER go back and can't wait until The Eden Resort Sunday Brunch resumes... ?? We've gotten 20% gratuity worthy service at Cracker Barrel before. It's was a very disappointing experience!!!

First timers: The food was decent, not knock your socks off we gotta go back soon type of food, but decent!! The decor was sweet but our server NEVER check in with us after we received our food, no drink/ water refills until we stopped another server to ask him for water and it was dead so no excuses..Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for vegetarians!Parking: Validate (at the restaurant) your parking pass for the orange street parking garage..Wheelchair accessibility: Easily wheelchair accessible!!Dietary restrictions: Wide variety of options from vegetarian to full range

The bar and kitchen were very slow on drinks and food while there were only a few tables full. The cocktails were ok, but the porchetta and chicken were quite dry. There are better options nearby at this price range.

Just want to share my experience to help others.Went here for breakfast with some out of town friends last weekend.We were on a bit of a time crunch so we ordered food as soon as we sat down (about 9am . Time passed with no update from our server on when our food would be out... we watch people who walked in after us (even one lady who walked in when we did all get their food (about 9:45 ...Still no word or update from our server... we tried to brush it off as them being busy or whatever... but each of us only ordered toast, potatoes, eggs and bacon... we finally were able to grab our server (around 10... who said yeah, I was thinking your food was taking a bit... let me check on that... she comes back and says it 'll be out in a few minutes.... 15 more minutes goes by and we ask a gentleman for a manager. He says he 's the manager and we explain our situation. He says well, sometimes this is the breakfast rush when hotel guests come down so we 're a little backed up... we explain to him that we 've seen multiple other people (pretty much everyone but us get their food. So he goes to check and 15 minutes later we get our food. They did end up comping two of our four meals. It was not worth the wait or the price. Communication would have gone long way in this instance... we didn 't leave until 10:35. An hour and a half after we arrived... and we had ordered food an hour and a half prior to when we left...

The desserts were absolutely fantastic; we tried the New York cheesecake and the carrot cake. Our server was attentive and provided perfect service. We went back for breakfast the next day, and the food was just as excellent and fresh.
