Sato Sushi - Lancaster

The atmosphere is a cool and pleasant place to go on a date or hang out with friends. However, the wait time for food is extremely long. We waited about 45 minutes after ordering, and even people who ordered after us received their food before we did. The restaurant was not very busy, but we still had to wait a long time to be served. The waitresses were apologetic and polite, but that did not make up for the excessively long wait times. Additionally, the bathroom was dirty, with urine all over the floor. The food itself was good, but the size of the rolls I ordered was disappointingly small, about the size of a quarter.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were promptly seated but had to wait for about 10 minutes before receiving a menu, which was surprising as most restaurants usually give it to us right away. The forks we were given were still dirty, with food residue and wetness still present. The cream cheese gyoza and crunchy dragon sushi were lacking in flavor, and the chicken teriyaki dish I ordered was excessively salty, with the rice and chicken drowning in teriyaki sauce. I had to share my husband's plain white rice to balance out the overwhelming sauce. The bulgogi my husband ordered was also overly salty. I only gave 2 stars because the waiter was friendly; otherwise, I would have rated it much lower. Overall, we were very disappointed with the food quality and recommend seeking out better sushi options in neighboring areas like Santa Clarita, Glendale, Burbank, San Fernando Valley, and Los Angeles.

They always take great care of us and this was not the exception. Joe's took care great care of our big party as if it was a 2 top table. Great personality and service. Food was amazing.Food: 5/5

Oh my goodness! The Oh My Baby roll is the absolute best I've ever had. It's my go-to and my favorite, getting a perfect 10 out of 10 from me. I highly recommend it! It's delicious and all I can say is mmm mmm mmm!
