After that, you can print your tickets, and you’re all set to go. The tickets cost $8 for adults and $7 for children, though I've heard they're more expensive at the gate. Parking is just $5, and since the lot isn't very large, you won't have to worry about parking far away. Upon arrival at the ballpark, your bags, backpacks, purses, and coolers will be checked. If you think it might get chilly, bring a blanket; the small fleece throws they sell are cute but don’t provide much warmth and cost $40. I own three, but I wouldn't recommend buying one. The staff here are consistently friendly and welcoming, at least in my experience. We typically grab a couple of hot dogs or hamburgers because this is what my daughter really craves. While I think the burgers are plain, she adores them! We also get some pretzels, peanuts, and drinks to enjoy while we’re watching the game. The seats are great, and because it's a smaller park, you always have good views. They have a children’s play area, a pitching booth where you can test your arm, and a grassy area where everyone can relax and roll around. During the 7th or 8th inning, kids get the chance to run onto the field and chase Kaboom, the Jet Hawks mascot. Overall, it’s a warm and friendly family atmosphere. We’ve seen families enjoying their kids’ first baseball game, couples on date night, and there was even a woman who couldn’t go on her honeymoon because she apparently married one of the players, although I didn’t catch the whole conversation. If you're in the area and enjoy baseball, I highly recommend catching a game. Just be ready and pay attention—there are a lot of foul balls!
**Parking:** There is plenty of parking available for $5, some of which is covered by solar panels. If you park close to the stadium, there’s a slight chance of your car getting hit by a foul ball. I noticed some fans parking at the nearby Cinemark and walking over, while others parked in an empty lot, though that might not be officially allowed. **Stadium:** The Hangar resembles the San Manuel Stadium in San Bernardino, home of the Inland Empire 66ers, but instead of a southwestern or mission-style exterior, it features a rather simple facade with sandy tones and glass, giving it an office park vibe from the outside. A distinctive feature is the FA-18 Hornet jet mounted at the stadium's entrance, honoring the aerospace industry in the Antelope Valley. The seating area has two levels, complete with real folding chairs and cup holders. In addition to the netting behind home plate, there’s a shorter net over the dugouts for added protection from foul balls, similar to what you’ll find in Rancho Cucamonga. For a clear view, consider sitting in the upper tier behind the dugouts or along the foul lines. If you want to treat yourself, waiter service is available in the lower-level seats right behind the plate. It can get quite hot in Lancaster, with the third base side providing shade first as the sun sets. **Experience:** The JetHawks host a promotion almost every night, offering discounted tickets, food and drink specials, and fireworks. Sundays are especially fun, as kids can play catch on the field before the game and run the bases afterward, which is always a highlight for the little ones. Players are also eager to sign autographs by the third base side, where the bullpen is entirely uncovered and the pitchers relax on folding chairs. Additionally, there’s a bounce house and a slide in the right field corner, with wristbands available for $8—not cheap, considering game tickets are also $8. All the staff, from ticket sellers to concession workers and ushers, were exceptionally friendly, contributing to a warm, Midwestern atmosphere. **Food and Drink:** The Hangar offers a diverse range of food options, including loaded hot dogs, wraps, BBQ sandwiches, and a dish called the Hawk's Nest, which is quite indulgent—featuring onion strings, chicken fries (chicken nuggets shaped like chunky fries), chili, and cheese. Unfortunately, they ran out of ice cream during my visit, so I missed out on a root beer float, but they still had shaved ice, Dippin' Dots, and various other treats.
Great team and field in the sport! There’s ample parking available for just $5. If you prefer a shaded spot, I recommend arriving a little early. There’s plenty of entertainment and food options for everyone to enjoy.
This is a fantastic place to spend an evening! Watching America’s favorite pastime is a delightful experience. The ticket prices are quite reasonable, and the staff is incredibly entertaining. I really enjoy coming here during the summer.
What a fantastic experience! I took my family to Lancaster to watch the Lancaster JetHawks, a minor league baseball team affiliated with the Colorado Rockies. We were excited to attend again, and this time it was sugar skull bobblehead night, which didn't disappoint! The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, the food was delicious, and the crowd was fantastic. There were plenty of family-friendly activities, including a designated kids' area and various in-game promotions like T-shirt giveaways, dancing, live music, and prizes from local restaurants and attractions. I even got my hands on the new El Viento hat, which they wear every Friday night to celebrate diversity in baseball. To top it all off, we were treated to an amazing fireworks show! The tickets were very affordable, parking was just $5, and the venue was easily accessible from the freeway, surrounded by many dining options. It was a great family night out, and I can’t wait to return! Go JetHawks!
