Kimball Farm - Lancaster

The ice cream is glorious. The Carlisle Kimballs is an old fashioned ice cream stand. The people scooping it are friendly and you may ask for a taste before you commit to a flavor. Commitment is required as the portions are enormous. No air pockets in those cones or cups, just smooth and delicious ice cream

Couldn't even enjoy our $18 worth of ice cream because we were getting swarmed by bees the ENTIRE time. Serious bee issue that needs to be taken care of. Our icecreams were literally getting swarmed. All 3 of our icecreams went into the trash and we left. Couldn't relax or enjoy at all. Also what happend to all the animals? Only a 2 geese and 2 goats? The ice cream is wonderful. You can't go wrong with any of their flavors and the Kimball special is wonderful. Three scoops of your choosing, plus pineapple and strawberries and whipped cream with nuts on top. It's the closest Kimball's from Boston. Beware of the bees though as they will swarm around your ice cream. To avoid them, walk behind Kimball's or sit and eat the ice cream in your car.

Great ice cream. They have a large number of flavors to choose from and a few picnic tables and benches for seating.

I love this location more than the others because it is not as busy very quiet nice laid-back country setting not all about trying to sell all kinds of dumb things just simply ice cream and nothing else again nice clean laid-back peaceful farm setting not very busy doesn't have all the extra useless things I think this is actually their best location even though the main location is 5 mi away
