Memo’s Mexican Restaurant Bar

We stopped here with the intention of having breakfast, but after we saw the menu we opted to have lunch. I had a Mexican combo plate and my husband had the carne asada plate. If possible, we like sitting in the bar area. The bartender was attentive as well as the staff. .Food: 4/5

What a find. Absolutely great Mexican food. If you're anywhere near Lampasas, you need to stop in and try it. The chili rellano and tamales were fantastic. The staff was as friendly and attentive as they could be. If you need that home-made Mexican food fix. This is it.It's a shame I can only give 5 stars.

Food wasnt the best. Extremely salty almost to the point I couldn't finish my meal.Queso is basically Velvetta Cheese or waitress was nice, but never came back to refill chips or water. And with how salty our food was we downed a 32oz glass of water quickly.Unfortunately Lampasas doesn't have any good food places and this is just another to add to the list of no returning.

We have had two lunches there over the past month. Very good Mexican food and their staff is very attentive. However, what we really like is that there is no noisy music/TV and its room acoustics is quiet enough to carry on a conversation.
