Bush's Chicken - Lamesa

This was a very pleasant stop while we passed thru Lamesa. Food was great and fast. Hope to stop by again soon.

So I just left there because after 10 minutes of standing at the counter with no service. 4 people were in there working, yet no one was taking care of the customers that parked the car and took the time to walk in the business to purchase goods. I don't get why the drive-thru is so important. Those people are sitting in the cars. They didn't take the time to even walk into the business. If I ran my business this way, be out of business. Customer service these days sucks. Sorry, but it's the truth. If I could rate less, I would. And yes to the employee that said , well we lost customers. . Yeah, you lost customers.

I went to Bush's Chicken around 8:00 pm. thinking I could go in and dine, since it's early and the sun was still out, well noticed the door was locked, I know I saw an open sign, come to find out they were taking orders through the window. What's with that?? How come I couldn't come in there and eat?? Saw a man crossing the street to come get him some chicken but left so disappointed because he pulled on the door handle and noticed it was locked. It was sad to see him cross a busy Street with disappointment on his face. The okra was burnt. Oh I ordered a coke, well it was carbonated water. I ended up with a Dr. Pepper. The chicken was good. I think they need to at least put up a note saying your window is open for orders. Over all I give this Bush's. Chicken in Lamesa, TX a 2. This is the first time I was disappointed in the service. My late son in-law worked here and he always made sure everyone was satisfied. I'm hoping my next visit will be more satisfying.
