Ace Plaice - Lambeth

I called in here yesterday, after searching for a proper chippy. All I wanted was a proper chip barm (tricky to find in London) and I got it! The food was delicious and they even had gravy! The service was super friendly and lovely too. Thank you for making my day!

Used the take away delivery service and was surprisingly impressed food arrive hot huge portions, fairly quick and not too badly priced will be ordering again very soon

Not a great chippy. There's always a ridiculously long wait and the end result is a fish that's ok with chips that are a massive disappointment.

Our daughter lives in the area and when visiting this is the second time we have had f&c from ace plaice in past year, both times the food has been excellent freshly cooked crispy batter and good chips, nice friendly staff. Definitely recommend Ace Plaice.

Fish n chips, peri peri chicken, plain grilled chicken, lamb donor, lamb chops, beef sausages, pukka pies and much more you name it they have it. I have to say there food is really tasty and well cooked, the sizes of my portions are perfect. Never once has my food been a disappointment from here! I have had majority of the menu they offer. Ace Plaice is great, brillant customer service very speedy. I definitely would recommend to anyone that would ask for suggestions of where to order food from they also do collections and deliveroo. I order directly but there is plenty of ways just check them out. They are based in West Norwood opposite Sainsbury's. Thanks for reading i hope this help people who are looking for places to eat. Oh yes how could i forget.. The whole Menu is Halal! Which for me is great because i do not like pork at all.
