Inn Of The Hawke - Lambertville

The all-you-can-eat crab legs were fantastic. Our server Cara provided excellent service. We really enjoyed The Dirt martini!

The Hawke has a very cute atmosphere and a lively vibe. However, I was really disappointed in my food. The Gorgonzola toast appetizer was a soggy mess that had some kind of liquid cheese concoction on it that didn’t taste anything like Gorgonzola. The truffle ravioli was served in an enormous deep bowl, giving it the appearance of being leftovers since it didn’t even take up 1/3 of the bowl. My fork kept falling into the bowl and the liquid mess of sauce, which should have been a cream sauce but wasn’t. It was accompanied by super soggy spinach. The other diners I was with ordered meals that came with French fries, which were cooked perfectly and delicious. The truffle onion rings were also good, although the sauce that came with them didn’t accompany truffle well at all. The filet mignon sandwich was said to be “fine” by my daughter and the lobster BLT was also rather soggy. Soggy was the theme here. Service was good. Overall, lots of room for improvement.

Yummy dinner with friends. Nice choice of wines by the glass. Spinach salad was outstanding. Service was a little slow when we first arrived but it picked up. Will definitely be back.

We adore The Hawke! They establish a warm and inviting environment that makes guests feel appreciated, welcoming us as if we were part of their own family.

The food at this restaurant was excellent, but our table was too dark. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant and had to use the flashlight on our phones to read the menu.
