Le Rond Point - Lamagdelaine

La Rond Point is a must visit when staying anywhere near Cahors. Situated a short drive away in Lamagdaleine, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and the food is superb.

We thought we would try the 13 euros set lunch just for the experience and without much expectation. We were pleasantly surprised. It was good and at an amazing price too. We skipped the soup as the weather was too hot but had the starter, main course of sirloin steak, choice of three sweets, followed by coffee, oh and yes a quarter litre of house wine was included in the 13 euros! The service was efficient and the surroundings pleasant. We had lunch on another day and the pork steak with green beans was equally good. On both occasions it was obvious the place was popular with the locals and with good reason!

Lovely bar/restaurant in typical French village where I bought a house 16 years ago. Previously the restaurant appeared very run down but since Cedric and his staff have been there, the standards have been elevated to a very high standard and I have enjoyed coffee mornings and lunches there on many occasions. Whatever I have eaten or drunk there has been delicious and well-presented. Cedric and his staff are always laughing and this helps create a superb atmosphere with both locals and visitors. In good weather I recommend dining outside under the large parasols. A superb restaurant that I recommend and will certainly visit many more times. See you there?

A good party with friends. At the level of restoration, it's very nice waitress and the very commercial boss. We feel like home. Thank you for this big evening

We spent a very good time the products offered are of good quality with sauces, fries and homemade desserts. It's worth it.
