Pizza Hut - Lakewood

Honestly never review chain restaurants, but these guys had my pizza ready when I walked in, brought it home and was actually the best pizza hut pizza I've ever had. They actually gave me the extra pepperoni that I never usually get at other places and didn't skimp on any other toppings. It tasted great and was still hot when I got home. Also, the manager working the front counter was very friendly.

I hope the lady manager with the piercings still works there. She was always super nice; she even recognized us every time we came in (maybe that says more about us than her) and always made sure our pizza came out right. Was disappointed with the dude at the counter today. Very short with me, didn't seem too happy to be there (I mean it is work I suppose), and pretty disappointed with the pizzas. There is maybe one pepperoni per slice, and the normally visually obvious parmesan crust flavor looks scarce. I'm sure it will taste just fine, but disappointed that My normally cheerful lady wasn't there and was greeted by someone who seemed too busy to be polite.

If I could give no stars, I would. The chicken was overly sauced and looked unappetizing, resembling red-colored pizza. While it was decent, those chicken wings were definitely disappointing.

This restaurant is permanently closed. The building is available for lease, and all signage has been removed.

I've even had the so-called manager deliver my pizza, and let me tell you, he was far from pleasant. He even had the audacity to complain about having to make deliveries because they’re short-staffed. Perhaps if their attitude improved, they’d have more staff willing to work with them! It would be great if everyone could just drop the bad attitude and focus on providing good service.
