Mr. Hero - Lakewood

My father and I have been coming to this restaurant for years, and it's the only place we choose to visit. It's always clean, and the cook makes sure to clean the grill after every order. The owner and his wife are wonderful people whom we have always appreciated. Even though my dad passed away a couple of months ago, I will continue to visit this place.

I absolutely love this Mr. Hero and have never visited any other location. I like to call ahead, and it's always ready for me as soon as I arrive. The owner is incredibly kind. One time, they accidentally made me a 7-inch sub instead of a 10-inch, and they graciously gave me an extra 7-inch sub for free. I've been coming here for about 25 years, and that was the only mistake they've ever made.

I've noticed several complaints about the cashier being rude, but I believe he’s actually a great guy. Here's my two cents: if you have any issues with anyone, just go in and mention that 'Art Fonz’ sent you. He'll give you a 50% discount without any questions. Also, make sure to bring in as many coupons as possible; they really enjoy seeing them!

My Mr. Hero is in Lakewood, Ohio. I have been going to my Mr.Hero since the current operator took over. The store is always impeccably clean, and the staff is well trained. It's fun to watch the rhythm, and their moves. Most of all the sandwiches are consistent, with fresh ingredients. When I decide to go to My Mr. Hero I know what I'm going to spend, and how long it's going to take, and most important that it's going to be fresh and good!

The Roman Burger BTE gave me a foodgasm! Update, I've been eating here for over 2 years now and I'll tell you the Roman Burger BTE is the best! try out some fried mushrooms or their loaded tater tots! I'm 50 years old and I've been eating Mr heroes since I was probably 10 or 11 years old! The first Mr hero I visited when I was a child was the one on 130th Street and Bennington avenue in Cleveland.
