Mentoast - Lakewood

I frequently visit various restaurants, and I've developed a keen eye for detail over time, so my standards are quite high. That being said, I would rate this establishment a solid 4, or even 4.25. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I ordered shawarma on laffa along with chulent, and both dishes were excellent—the shawarma was particularly outstanding. The house-made sauces were flavorful and added a great touch. I will definitely be returning and am excited to try more items from their menu.

The first time I was sucked in was for the unique name I found so brilliant... Once I tasted the food there, forget it, beat everything, became one of my favorites. And the staff so fast, fast and friendly.

The reason they don't get the fifth is because when you order a schnitzel they give you one big peice of schnitzel without sliceing it its nasty other then that its amazing

Keepshuto Mamish one of the 7 wonders! Before anyone even mentions anything about food the vibe this place gives off I feel like I'm back at my favorite shawarma or falafel stand in Israel you feel it in the store and taste it in the food. I believe the reason for the authentic Israeli taste is because they import used oil from the stands and shops in Israel It gives it that deep flavor. You also pick it up when you see them throwing breaded hotdogs in the fryer something more people should be doing. The way to go is with a laffa with schnitzel, chuumuus, charif ,fried onions, chatzelim none of those healthy vegetables in here and some more chuumuuus on the side and if that doesn't speak to you then a mentoast panini is next on the list.
