Griffin Room - Lakewood

It was closed for a private event! we drove all the way there to try, as we only booked a reservation on open table to find out that it was closed! very disappointing.

Enjoyed eating and ambiente, but the place was completely empty, but it was a very wet rain night.

Overall only an average experience for dinner. eating was good, but the room generally needs a renovation. it is a look back at the typical eighties country club restaurant. The lighting must be addressed in the short term. some tables have bright lighter over, while others are dark. it seems that the maintenance personnel have just replaced glowing bulbs with what they had. if they go to the tables with a darker space generally with candlelight, it will significantly improve the ambiente. for a country club environment this should be a given one. on the positive side, the personal was attentive and polite. with some changes this space could become a nice alternative to the typical CL/LITH options.

Loved it! would absolutely return to dine again! thanks for the great time!
