Contribuiți la feedbackThis is a traditional "Lard and Pork" Mexican restaurant, but I appreciate that they offer a "whole bean" option for those who prefer not to consume lard. However, don't assume that those whole beans are entirely vegetarian—I suspect they might have been cooked with a bone or seasoned with some kind of meat-based ingredient. I'm also not entirely sure that their rice is free of animal products. In places like this, you have to use your own judgment, as the opinions of meat eaters can sometimes be misleading when it comes to vegetarian options (I once had someone at another restaurant suggest we try the “steak” if we wanted something without lard or pork). If you enjoy Colorado or Southwest-style Mexican food and aren't too concerned about atmosphere, you'll likely enjoy this place. It's not the most charming restaurant I've dined in, but the food was good, the staff was friendly, and I left feeling full without breaking the bank. Oh, and if you have an Entertainment Book, there's a coupon inside for buy-one-get-one-free entrees, worth up to $10 off.
