Denny's - Lakewood

Went for my free birthday reward breakfast. Their scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy are the best in the area. My husband had the biscuits and gravy breakfast. Our server was very friendly. Will definitely be going back

We had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Our daughter enjoyed her diner burger, my husband loved the T-bone steak, and my chicken fried chicken was delicious. We initially tried to go to Black Bear, but after waiting 25 minutes without being seated, we wish we had come here first.

I was very surprised at how lovely the service was here and how clean the restaurant was. The staff was incredibly friendly and eager to serve. They were incredibly patient with the large group of us especially during covid. We were given clean coffee cups each time a new cup was served which is very kind as they can just walk around and refill your cup. The waitresses were very thorough and communicated well. The bathrooms were clean. It was a nice family environment.

Despite being busy on Easter Sunday, the waitress promptly seated me and took my order (which happened to be for my free Grand Slam birthday meal). The pancakes, over easy eggs, and bacon arrived quickly and tasted delicious. I would definitely suggest signing up for Denny's reward program, if only for the free birthday meal you get every year.

Located at 8614 S Hosmer St, Tacoma, WA 98444, this restaurant is our favorite. The food is much better and uses fresher, seasonal ingredients compared to other spots in the area. The service was excellent and friendly. I ordered a veggie omelet which was large, with fresh veggies and perfectly cooked. The hash browns were also delicious, with a nice crunch on both sides. My child finished his plate, which is rare for him. We will definitely be making this a tradition due to the reasonable prices. While each Denny's location may vary, this one seemed to prepare our food better and used newer ingredients. We enjoyed the great taste and will be returning.
