Dave's Hot Chicken - Lakewood

The food was decent, but it was way too expensive. I paid $11.69 for just 2 chicken strips and fries, and an extra strip was $4.50. What bothered me the most was being pressured to leave a tip at the register. This is a fast food restaurant, not a full service one. Why are customers being asked to add a tip? It felt uncomfortable. They should pay their employees better so tips aren't necessary. Can you imagine being asked how much you want to tip for your Big Mac at McDonald's? I won't be returning.

I have always wanted to try Dave's Hot Hut and I am so happy that I did because the experience was fantastic! The outdoor terrace is heated for those who want to enjoy the weather while dining. When I entered, the cashier warmly greeted me and provided an overview of the menu, including some recommendations. I tried the mild and spicy combo (a milder option) and it was perfectly seasoned, with fresh fries on the side. Overall, I would rate my experience a 10/10.

I tried almost everything on the menu and the food was fresh and delicious. The best part of the restaurant is the outdoor seating area, which has a large heater on the deck to keep it warm even when it's cold outside.

I got this place was good. I never had chicken teeth and a chicken sandwich that was so amazing. I had all the other local chickens, but this one takes the cake. the service was exceptional and the eating cam .out fast and tasty. they really get a lot for what they pay. it says slider, but it is a full on chicken sandwich. the offers are thick and juicy and full of tasteful flavors. their special sauce is on point with other special sauces and thus also no disappointment there. I will certainly recommend this place to others, and I will definitely come back soon?

I didn’t really have any expectations for this place because its just chicken tenders. But let me tell you. This place was FIRE. The reaper sauce you have to sign a waiver. Its hot don’t get me wrong. But its not waiver worthy hot though. I don’t recommend the reaper because its very salty. But the picture is the extra hot and it was very flavorful. Fries were delicious. They were very fast pace. Anyone curious definitely needs to go and try this place. Will be back
