Agostino's Sushi Rock - Lakewood

We LOVED the brussel sprout appetizer. It could convert non eaters of brussel sprouts. I enjoyed the sushi small rolls that were on special. My husband and brother in law liked the cavatelli, and my sister loved the veal marsala. The house red wine is several steps above most house reds. I would definitely order it again. Happy hour prices are a really good value. Service is attentive and friendly. With a baby grand piano, it's a good venue for music, yet the sound doesn't preclude conversation. In other words, the perfect night out. Blu Monsoon, a jazz trio (piano, bass guitar and drums) made its Agostino's Sushi Rock debut the night we were there great original music and covers. We were happy to discover the band will be back weekly on Wednesdays.

Our second visit here and tried the Sushi this time. It was very good! We will definitely be back, but it will be hard to decide what to order; Italian or Sushi!! We like the atmosphere of the restaurant also, nice mellow music in the background and we understand there will be entertainment some evenings! Also, valet parking Friday and Saturday nights really helps at this busy area of Lakewood.

The service here was phenomenal. Loved everyone we interacted with. The food exceeded our expectations. I understand the concept is new, but I think it works, especially if you're craving sushi and your significant other isn't a fan, it's a win-win. My friend and I both got sushi and my son got ravioli with meatball and everything was great. Highly recommend!

Agostinos Sushi Rock is a unique combination of two of my favorite types of food. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.
