Main Street Trattoria - Lakewood Rch

We’ve loved Main Street trattoria, it’s been our go to pizza place since we moved here in November. We loved their Monday and Thursday pizza deals. Recently, in April, they slashed their prices and got rid of the pizza deal. We attended tonight, it was first Friday, but we had to go inside after we were seated to get a server, it took a while to get our check and prices have gone back to their original price. The server was very sweet but we were a little disappointed in tonight’s service and prices.

The worst pesto dish I had ever. Tasted like they poured it out of a cardboard box. Entrees came before appetizers, then we get told that actually they are out of the calamari like 45 minutes after we ordered them. I will not come here again. Just poor performance.

Gonna keep it simple avoid, avoid, avoid. Unless: You like to wait 50 minutes on a dead night for an undercooked pizza You enjoy no ice in an iced tea You enjoy sugar packets that’s have are actually little bags of months old sugar esque rocks You don’t care if your waitress and/or staff speaks English (which is kind of important when ordering so they can understand what you said) You enjoy watching the manager sit down with a hot meal a few tables over, 30 minutes after you ordered, starving, and still waiting You don’t mind asking for a takeout box for your undercooked pizza and never getting it, and you enjoy getting up and getting it yourself, 15 minutes after you asked for it, while the waitress who said she would get it is hanging at the front having a great laugh with a co worker, oblivious to pretty much everything going on. If you like all that, then you’ll love it!

I waited at the counter for almost 10mins waiting to be sat but instead I was ignored by the staff. I made repeated eye contact with staff as they walked by waiting for someone to talk to about being sat. At one point as I was waiting at the counter one of the waitresses came up to the computer to put something in. She completely ignored us and then left instantly. I left right after. There was also no mention of it being self serve

The atmosphere was great with outdoor seating and no wait time. The service was great and food came out quickly considering how crowded it was on a Saturday night. There was music playing and a lovely atmosphere. The actual dishes were all a bit bland and watered down for my taste, but was decent. I appreciate that they were attentive! We ordered the lasagna, spaghetti meatballs, rigatoni, and flatbread pizza.
