Tr Restaurant Bar Lounge - Lakeway

We’re visiting from out of town and trying various restaurants, and this has been the best by far. Dinner was incredible! We ordered the BBQ octopus and filet, both cooked to perfection, and the espresso martinis were outstanding. Shaylin provided attentive service, and everything was wonderful. I highly recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be returning!

The brunch was delicious, especially paired with my mimosa. The outdoor seating offers an amazing view too!

This restaurant still offers a lovely view and has an appealing atmosphere both inside and out. However, the food and service have significantly deteriorated. We used to visit every few months, but we'll be taking a break for a while in the hopes that they can improve things. One more thing: if you're looking for a rare steak, be sure to ask for it to be "extra, extra rare," and you might just get what you want.

As a guest at a 4star resort like this, I expect room service. Or some sort of food available on the property. No food menus at the huge pool, no food inside hotel. I walked around in my bathing suit like an idiot for 30 minutes trying to findit. Second attempt- Online it said it have a breakfast voucher. False. My eggs were watery, unseasoned. No flavorings availablefor coffee/latte. Toast was sliced wonder bread cold. Call me a prude, whatever.. but I’m at this property for 3 days amsuper upset that this is my only option to eat. With all these drunk people wandering around, you’d think there would beeasier access to quality, reasonably priced food.

The only reason this restaurant is still in business, is because there is no alternative. We are staying at the Lakeway resort and have 'dined ' in this restaurant two nights in a row. The first night was forgetful, overpriced and painfully slow, whichwas surprising since we were the only table on a Thursday at 6pm. The following night however, we decided to go again out oflack of options. The restaurant was about 1/4 full and we ordered cocktails and the nights special appetizer of oysters on thehalf shell. 90 minutes later we received our appetizers which were on salt, not ice which was totally abnormal. Two of thecouples we were with sent it back because it was so odd. My husband and I ate ours, and while it was the worst oysterexperience of my life, I think they were safe... Then comes the main course. My husband ordered the same club sandwich he hadthe night before, however this time it was so incredibly spicy!! There was absolutely no reason for the spice. It wasnt on themenu that way and the only explanation is retaliation for spending back the oysters. I literally will never step foot in thatrestaurant again.
