La Playa Azul Cocina Cantina, Indian Lake

Hostess was very rude. We had tried calling 4 times, but each time the line was busy. We decided to just come in and place order at location. As soon as we came in and politely told her it was difficult to get a call thru she rolled her eyes and rudely asked well do you know what you want? Very unprofessional. She told us it would be 20 minutes. We left and went to the store for 20 minutes. Now I have been out here in the parking lot waiting on my wife for another 20 minutes as I write this review. Never again!

The food was ok, but the service was not the best. They weren't even busy. We had to find someone to refill our drinks cause our waiter never came back to check on us after food came out. Food didn't come with everything it was supposed to, but we couldn't tell anyone. Then when we left we found there was a live band and we think the employees were out there dancing. I highly recommend La Playa!!! The food is delicious, drinks are fabulous and cold and the service is above and beyond!!! We always feel welcomed when we walk through the door. The owner and manager are visible and making sure things are running as they should. The manager, Bethany, is the absolute best!!! So friendly and high energy. Go check them out!!! You won't be disappointed!! Food: 5

We drive by here all the time and finally stopped in. The food was great, generous portions of all the typical Mexican fare you would expect at reason prices. My daughter loved the atmosphere with the ship theme and everything water-related. She could play while she waited for her food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
