Wild Catch Fish & Chips

I visited this lovely fish and chip shop for lunch today and was incredibly impressed with the fresh food! The staff were friendly and the prices were very reasonable. I ordered a large piece of fish, 4 fish bites, 2 calamari, and chips for $21, which was amazing value. I will definitely be returning as I was very pleased with the food.

The fish and chips at this restaurant are absolutely delicious. They are not greasy and have a super light and crispy coating. I highly recommend trying them out. The fish is incredibly fresh.

The restaurant offers friendly local service and has a quirky, laid-back atmosphere. The cooked seafood is fried to perfection, resulting in a tender, melt-in-your-mouth experience.

We really enjoyed the fish and chips here. The blue grenadier was sooo fresh and the batter was light and crispy...almost thought it was tempura batter. The staff were very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our feast...<br/

Found this place open at 7.40, last Sunday night of school holidays in July. Staff were very welcoming. It was card or cash great, as we were travelling home no cash on us. We ate in and ordered gummy shark and minimum chips also potato cakes and fried dim sims. The shark was fresh and cooked beautifully in a light golden batter. Chips were golden and crunchy. Potato cakes and dim sims were good also.I would return here next time I’m through Lakes Entrance. I believe it should rate higher than 3.0
