Papa Johns Pizza - Lakeland

We frequently order from this place, but tonight we decided to try something different and ordered two Papadilas instead of pizza. Unfortunately, they were burnt around the edges and had very little topping. I can't believe I paid $8.99 each for some burnt dough, plus $4.99 for delivery, not to mention a $4.00 tip. It's just ridiculous! Papa John's really needs to improve if they want to remain competitive. I wasn't keen on ordering from here tonight, but my husband wanted to give it one more shot. We're done! It's overpriced and not worth the money.

Don't order online! I've tried it three times, and each time I arrived to pick up my pizza, they didn't have my order. Even providing my phone number and order number didn't help. That said, the pizza is still the best around. Just call the restaurant instead of ordering online!

The service was incredibly fast the other night. I asked my wife when our order would be ready because I needed to stop by Publix. She said she had just placed the order five minutes ago, and then, almost immediately, she received a notification that it was ready.

Poor attitude of all the workers there. Customer service was never taught to them. Some guy had his head directly over my pizza for a full min. Just looking at it. With no mask on. I refuse to take it and had a new one made. Then he shakes his head atme while I waited. They need an entire shift changed.

It seems impossible to actually call this store. The only extension that works is directed to a new order line answered by someone in an Indian call center that is extremely hard to understand. All the other extensions dont work. I simply wanted areplacement pizza for one that was not edible, but instead I have to wait for customer service to call me back in 2 days(maybe). I was told they don 't deliver free pizzas from the new order extension. I dont see how that 's my problem. We 've usedthis store many times and generally have a good experience with quality and delivery. But tonight was just a sad reminder of thedownward spiral of customer service in the retail industry. Follow up 2 weeks later: silence is deafening.
