Nini's At Lake Ashton - Lake Wales

I've been a loyal customer at Nini for years, and I can confidently say that they serve the best food in Polk County! Everything is always fresh. Some of my favorites include the cheesesteak, which I think is even better than the ones I had in Philadelphia when I lived near Temple and tried everything I could find. Their grilled hamburgers are absolutely amazing, and Sandy's homemade chips are simply the best. On weekends, they have great music, and it's been our favorite spot since our very first visit all those years ago!

The best restaurant in the area. It's not pretentious at all, with friendly food and attentive waitstaff. If you're looking for an enjoyable meal, Nini at Lake Ashton is the place to be.

Always delicious and consistently well-maintained, this restaurant is the real deal. The food is fresh and homemade. I can’t express enough how fantastic this place is, along with its owners and staff! I highly recommend everything that Herb cooks! The specialties are always amazing, and my personal favorite sandwich is the club—it’s a great value. Don’t miss out on the stuffed peppers, which are a hit, and everyone raves about the shepherd's pie!

Dinner of the Prime Rib was excellent 2 weeks ago with a very talented country band whose leader had one per voice. Tonight we go back to the original nativity and a well-known Epcot band of the British invasion. Every other Friday is the best place for food and entertainment.

Friendly staff, great food and watching planes take off/land right on the other side of the window was a fun and unique experience. If you live in the area or are passing through town, I highly suggest you give it a try.
