The At The Greystone - Lake Toxaway

We had a lovely weekend at The Greystone Inn over Labor Day. Paulette and the entire staff from the front desk, to the spa, to the restaurant and bar were incredibly welcoming, gracious and accommodating. We were there with our two young children and our dog, which can be a recipe for chaos, but everyone was very kind and always ready with a smile. The property is beautiful, the service impeccable and the experience is one we will always remember. We can’t wait to return!

We stayed here for a wedding. It is a well known famous “old” place to stay. It is only expected that the rooms would be small and they were but ours was clean and well apportioned. The Inn is on a small lake and offers some rentals for boating. The staff is nice and the food is good. I personally would only stay at a place like this for a wedding or reunion weekend- where you are wanting to stay on the premises to visit with friends and family. It is a beautiful location offering golf, tennis and other activities.

You don't need to stay at the resort to go to the restaurant. The restaurant is lovely overlooking the lake. The food is delicious! The service is excellent! The chef will accommodate special requests if s/he is able to. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting. The restaurant table settings are first class. Very clean and the prices are very reasonable based on everything I just described. We go every year and I can't wait to go back! Service: 5
