The happy hour here is really good. The Yo' margs are still fantastic, just like we remembered from Yo' Salsa, though they can be pricey. The happy hour definitely helps keep the costs manageable since those drinks can add up quickly. It's been a while since our last visit, and we plan to come back more often, but we’ll be paying with cash next time. Prados is yet another spot that automatically adds a credit card fee, which is something I've never quite understood. Overall, I’d rate the food a solid 4.
The service was excellent, but the food was a bit dry. I've definitely had better meals, but I've also had worse experiences. I found the mirror in front of the booth to be a bit strange—it gives you an odd view of the ceiling. The queso was fantastic, but the chips were overly salty, which took away from it. I really wish they would bring back their salsa because the tacos just don’t taste the same anymore. Overall, I dined in.

Food-wise, we tried a variety of dishes: tacos with rice and beans, quesadillas, chimichangas, and a chicken sandwich with fries, along with two margaritas and, of course, chips and salsa. The chips and salsa were decent—not the best I’ve had, but they hit the spot. The al pastor tacos were good but a bit lacking in filling. The sides of rice and beans were underwhelming. The quesadillas were just average. The chimichanga was generously stuffed and enjoyable, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression. The chicken in the sandwich was average at best, and the fries, which were wedges, looked appealing but didn’t taste as good as they looked. The margaritas, however, were above average. In terms of pricing, it was slightly higher than what you might expect, but still reasonable. Overall impression: A couple of days later, I realized that none of us really remembered the specific flavors of the food, though we did notice it was plated in a more ‘classy’ style. I would consider returning on a pleasant evening for drinks, but I probably won’t come back for the food. We prefer a more authentic Mexican dining experience, which we can find locally.
