The restaurant offers a variety of vegan appetizers and one vegan main course that are clearly marked. I tried the Gambian peanut stew entree, which came with tofu, chickpeas, and vegetables over ginger quinoa. I really enjoyed it! Meals are priced at $23 and above. They also serve wine and beer, and offer a vegan dessert option of sorbet.

Make sure to make a reservation in advance as the restaurant tends to get booked up quickly! I dined here for dinner and found the vegan options to be limited (1 main dish and 2 appetizers including a salad). My companion and I ordered all the vegan dishes available and shared them to create a meal for two. The food was tasty, but I do wish they would expand their vegan menu with more options.

It's difficult to find vegan options in Lake Placid. We came across a restaurant that had promising options and attempted to dine there on multiple occasions. However, we were unable to secure a reservation each night of our stay as they were consistently fully booked. Make sure to plan well in advance if you want to eat here.

Not really, there is definitely yummy vegan soup here! The Mulligatawny Soup is vegan, hearty and awesome eat your heart out Kramer! The menu is marked with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options very plainly and the staff is sensitive and knowledgeable. The chef is the owner and there are often vegan specials so ask! We have also had the Vegetable Tempeh Udon Noodles (vegan) and the Solstice Salad (vegan), both of which are excellent. They have added a few more vegan options since last we visited and we cannot wait to try them out! Finally, they have excellent mock tails for those who are alcohol free.
