Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I had an excellent experience with the counter and cashier service! The food was very good, but the standout was the woman at the counter. Unfortunately, I can’t recall her name, but she was working today (January 4, 2024, around 2:30 PM). I was searching for a hat for my wife, but the store didn’t have her size. She was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to assist me. She even called another store to help me secure the hat. Her customer service was truly exceptional!

The food was absolutely cooked to perfection! We placed our order over the phone, and while the conversation was a bit frustrating due to some difficulty understanding the representative, they did manage to get our order right when we picked it up. The in-store service, however, was fantastic!

We arrived about an hour before closing time (8 PM) with a group of 10. The service was disappointing, as we were only checked on when our food was brought to the table and not at any other time. We waited over an hour and a half for our meals. The steak I ordered came out well done instead of medium rare, along with several other dishes that were incorrect. We chose not to make a scene since we were the only group left in the restaurant due to closing. This was quite frustrating, as my family and I enjoy visiting Cracker Barrel from time to time.

I always get roast beef,and it has always been great, but this time the meat was tough and tasted old. I was very disappointed.

The service was great. Thank you Laquesha! However, when it was time to pay the bill one of the cashiers told my husband, “No, I’m not going to check you out, you will have to get into the other line.” Mind you, she asked another man if he was ready to cash out and he was just browsing. Hmm, so does this mean my money is not welcome here or what?! Either way, we will not be back. Thanks, but no thanks!
