Pretty good BBQ. Just wish they had brisket more often.
Food here is great. Definitely worth the visit. It is BBQ so be prepared it's a bit expensive. Great outdoor seating area in the summer and fall. Definitely recommend.
I would love to provide a review of the BBQ here, but I can't ever seem to actually be here when they're open. I've tried to bringing family and clients here no less than 4 times in the last 6 months, and every single time they've been closed during their business hours. I understand the limitations on selling BBQ and the ease of running out, but my most recent trip was ~90 minutes after they had opened for the evening, and I find it really hard to believe they were already sold out for the day.I'll update my review if/when I get the chance to actually eat here, but if you're planning on eating here for dinner....have a backup plan nearby.
The service was excellent and if all I had eaten was brisket they would probably get 4 stars. But they lost a star for the other items. Cornbread was pretty dry. Ribs were mediocre. Mac and cheese had good flavor but it's penne, not macaroni, which is fine, but it changes the noodles to sauce ratio and I prefer the smaller macaroni noodles to penne, and the bacon on top was way too thick and had no flavor. Some of this was my preference, and I lived in Texas so bbq is sacred and maybe I was just a little underwhelmed but it just wasn't up to par for me. I'm sad they were out of the tri tip, I would have liked to try that too, if it's as good as the brisket it might be worth it.
