Angelos Pizza - Lake of the Pines

I'm being generous with this review because I have loved this pizza joint all my life. I ordered NY style cheese pizza when I was back in upstate NY, and it was burned and hard, not soft and foldable. I will give it another shot the next time I'm back, and so hope it was just an off night!!!!

At 10 pm you’re closed on a Saturday. Hours state until 11. Always closing early????? Not going to try anymore!!!!!

The food was great for a great price. The owner served the group of girls I rolled in with and he was very nice and personable. I accidentally left my purse and he made sure it was put up safe until I came to get it. He saved my tail and I’ll forever grateful!!!!!

Used to make pizza myself, I can tell already that mine did not get a lot of time in the oven as it should have, the whole pie is doughy with no crisp on the bottom, I mean I'll eat it cause I can just fry up individual slices on the stove, but for 22.50 I was hoping for something more than barely edible. Great flavor and good ingredients it's just not fully cooked.

Angelo's is so good, some of the best wings in Auburn. NY style pizza
