Pizza 1905 - Lake Mary

We’re currently on vacation and ordered from 1905. The pizza was fantastic, and the calzone was equally delicious. Our food arrived hot and fresh right to our hotel room. The customer service was exceptional—everyone was very friendly and approachable. The delivery person was informed that he could just call us, and we would come down to pick up the pizza, but he went the extra mile and brought it directly to our room. We will definitely order from here again. The food was wonderful! I would have shared a picture, but we dove right into it!

The pizza I received had onions and mushrooms, but I had ordered onions and pepperoni. I am allergic to mushrooms, which made the situation even worse. After the delivery driver left, I tried calling multiple times from two different phones, but they didn’t answer and I wasn’t able to leave a message. It felt like a waste of $32 for the pizza plus a $5 tip. If I could give negative stars, I would. It seemed like we were the last order of the night, as there was a clear lack of care in the delivery and preparation of the food. It’s disappointing to know that, despite having such great pizza, customers can experience such a lack of attention and concern at the end of the night.

As a Chicago native, I usually avoid ordering pizza when I'm traveling, as nothing ever measures up. However, Pizza 1905 came really close with its high-quality ingredients and delicious sauce! The service was quick and friendly, which is a rare find these days. I dine out quite often, so it's rare for a restaurant to impress me enough to write a review, but well done, Pizza 1905!

This place is fantastic! I've had the best pizza since moving to Florida from New York! The pizza was cooked to perfection, and the staff was extremely friendly. A big shoutout to Chris, who made our pizza—you did an awesome job! If you're okay with eating mediocre Hungry Howie's pizza, you need to check out Pizza 1905 to experience what real pizza tastes like. I highly recommend it!

I'm quite a discerning eater and have sampled every pizza spot with a 4-star rating or higher between Deland and Mt. Dora. This restaurant stands out as the absolute best! The customer service was also impressive. I will definitely return!
