I have been eating at different El Chico restaurants for 65 plus years. The El Chico Restaurant in Lake Jackson is absolutely the best restaurant I have ever eaten in! Bruce, the manager, is beyond tremendous. I have moved to Colorado Springs about 8 years ago and The El Chico Restaurant is what I miss the most about moving. I would give a lot if Colorado Springs had an El Chico Restaurant with Bruce as manager. I was shocked when I heard, yes all the way up here, that Brazos Mall had given The El Chico spot to Cavenders Western Store. My first thought was that the mall leadership did not realize that they were messing with a legendary restaurant in Lake Jackson! I also wondered why Cavenders would risk loosing so much business to a great population of El Chico supporters. Bruce, you are the finest manager I have ever known in 73 years of living! You deserved better than this. Come to Colorado Springs and start an El Chico Restaurant!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

This is the perfect place for a quick lunch. Their lunch specialities (seis is the best) are perfectly dimensioned and great with their salsa and maybe some queso. Always enjoy meals here.
