Firehouse Subs Lake In The Hills

Food is tasty. A little pricy for being sandwiches. But they have cute little fire hats that come with the kids meals. Service is kinda slow but they're short staffed and making the food fresh.

It takes a while to get your order done,but worth the wait. There bread is fresh and soft. Deli meats are very good as well.

First time paying $10.00 for double meat. Thought it would be on sandwich. Did not get it. There was however a bag with NO name on it next ours, but receipt showed only 3 items that were in the bag with our name. Apparently when we called in we were toldthe nameless bag WAS our extra meat. Could not drive back being over 30 minutes away. Not compensated for their mistake. Oncebefore when my husband went to pick up the order he was told a bag that was next to ours (with no name) was for Uber order.Totally disappointed. Out $10.

First time trying. Friendly service and guick. Sandwich tasted great. Looking forward to next visit to try another sandwich.

Steak and cheese sub was ok. Not much flavor and the meat was still kinda cold for being toasted. The loaded potato soup was very watery and didn 't have much flavor. The pickle that came with was mushy and the outer part hard and rubbery. Wasn 't worth27 bucks for 2 subs and small watery soup and chili. My kid did enjoy the chili though and the staff were friendly. That 's aboutit.
