Cold Stone Creamery - Lake in the Hills

On the evening of 7.5.22, I was served by the most delightful waitresses. Chaka absolutely adored the experience! (They understood exactly what I meant.)

I absolutely adore Cold Stone! My go-to favorite is the cheesecake with brownie.

We visited this restaurant to try out their new menu items, which included healthy options and appealing flavors for children.

If I could have done 0 stars I would have. Sent in a complaint about a substandard custom birthday cake on the website and the owner Mitch called me back. HORRIBLE customer service !!!! . Not once did he apologize, he berated my complaint and then was patronizing. I told him I was at work and couldn’t talk long he said “ well I am at work too.” He sarcastically said “ we are gonna crank up our standards and out out a better cake to make you happy “. Who does that ? I had to tell him again I needed to go but he kept talking.The cake was horrible. The decorations extremely poor. It didn’t look like anything on their website. The filling was non existent, the Mix in’s to the ice cream of strawberry and blueberry were minimal, there were no clear layers of cake and ice cream and the strawberries on top were so small. I even thought one looked made up with frosting. The handwriting elementary and didn’t even include a name.I can’t believe an owner would have such a lack of customer service. I won’t ever be going back.

Delicious icecream. Creamy as a gelato and loaded with flavor. Excellent variety of regular and fancy combinations along with a wide array of toppings.
