Jefferson Diner - LAKE HOPATCONG

I had the worst dining experience at this diner! I work nearby, but live 40 minutes away, and I often see the waitresses when they come to shop with us. Given all the positive reviews and endorsements from Guy Fieri, I was really looking forward to trying it, but it turned out to be a disappointment. The disco fries were burnt, and the burger bun was stale. After making a 40-minute drive to eat here, I was shocked at how poorly the food was presented. I can't understand why the waitress thought it was acceptable to serve it to me. Guy needs to revisit this place and remove his show's logos from their shirts—it's false advertising. I won't be coming back. Trust me, save your money!

The restaurant has an interesting atmosphere and is quite busy, perhaps a bit too much. The food was just average, with the Eggs Benedict looking almost artificial. The service was good, but I personally prefer a place that feels more genuine and less flashy.

Myself and some friends rode out to the Sussex county fairgrounds for a event. It became dark and cold and the agreement was to get in the warm car and head back to Brooklyn. On the way back we saw the colorful bright lights of the diner and immediatelypulled up. We were not in the door a full 30 seconds before a gentle showed us to a table. I thought that was great since theplace was crowded. Their were three of the local police eating in there also. Lots of people and families. Valeria was our hostand she handed us all one of the most diverse menus I?ve seen in a long long time. They have something for every taste includingvegetarian offerings. I was immediately impressed. I started my evening with a very well prepared latte. It was yummy. Weordered and next thing I know Valeria had returned with our food. The kitchen in this place must be large and efficient to haveprepared our orders to all show up at the same time. Our host Valeria was attentive and asked more then once if we were good.That?s awesome to me. The food was hot, well prepared and yummy. Anytime I?m in the area I will definitely return. The food here is quite impressive, and the service is exceptional! I had a great lunch during my visit. The ambiance inside is pleasant, and there are plenty of dessert choices to satisfy any sweet tooth. I was pleasantly surprised to find Greek-themed dishes on the menu, which enhanced my dining experience even more!

I took my aunt and my second cousin to eat here today the food was great the hostess was really good and friendly. Though the reason for 4 stars is the waiter Brandon couldn?t be found when we needed him. Though don?t get me wrong Brandon is a reallynice waiter and is very friendly. I would suggest asking for him when you dine at this restaurant.The food was great though. Ihad a Philly steak cheese sandwich which was awesome. Picture attached.
