Contribuiți la feedbackThe manager was extremely rude and harassed me. They told me to move my big rig from a bad space, which I did. After that I found another parking spot twice. The parking spaces were generally full. The manager came knocking on my door twice and screamed very loud at me to move. All I wanted to do was get my breakfast I ordered at Wendys, which I didnt even get to do, wasting my money. After pulling up at a fuel aisle, I left the truck stop to avoid being harassed anymore.
I'm reviewing a gas station here, so I'm going to be slightly more brief than I would normally be. Anna, the kids, and I are on a trip to Flagstaff, AZ, and no road trip would be complete without the need to fill up the tank, grab a snack, and use a restroom. Okay, maybe that's just us. A few miles before the California/Arizona border, we saw a sign for $3.39 gas at the Pilot off exit 9, so we decided we'd stop there. Every pump was in use, so I pulled in behind a Mercedes Sprinter van and waited my turn. Fortunately, the lady in the Mercedes was just finished, so we were able to pull up to the pump. While I got out to pump, Anna went into the attached Wendy's and into the Pilot shop. Much to my chagrin, there was a paper sign on the pump stating that the station was out of all but super unleaded. So much for that sweet $3.39 gas, right? Wrong! The sign offered apologies and also informed customers that Pilot wasn't charging extra for 91 octane gas. Wow! I feel like whoever runs or owns that Pilot actually cares about their customers. After filling up, Anna came out with food from Wendy's and a fresh coffee from the Pilot store, and she reported that the workers in the store were polite and professional. I can attest to their coffee making prowess. Overall, this was a great experience. I tend to favor Pilot truck stops when I'm traveling, and this one more than lived up to my expectations.
I had to get gas on my way to Sedona, AZ, during my recent road trip. I believe this Pilot Travel Center in Lake Havasu City was my first stop for gas. I will pump at Pilot before any other gas station brands besides Costco... Love or Flying J would be next if there's one available. I only pump at name brand gas if I have to. Now of course there are a few gas station brands I will not pump at... Arco (it almost damaged my Toyota Camry long long time ago so I will never use them again), Thrifty (never pumped them, but it's probably similar to Arco), Valero (I may have pumped them once, but I'll stick with my Costco, Pilot, Love, and others). Gas, potty breaks, and foods are the main reason why I stop at gas stations especially when travelling on the road. I'm sure it's the same for everyone else. I have to say Pilot Travel Centers are the best... besides gas, they have one or two restaurants within them, foods/snacks/drinks, tons of souvenirs, car needs, restrooms, shower rooms (vary by Pilot), also laundry rooms (vary by Pilot), etc. Thank you to this Pilot and all other Pilots for being available wherever you are at! I appreciate you.
Just paid over $100 for gas and they wouldn't let me fill my tires with air without paying!!! Isn't that illegal??
This is a truck stop with coffee dispensers and coffee machines, and cans of monster, Rockstar etc. No made-to-order drinks
