Marine Village Resort - Lake George

When I called made reservations the lady had a bad attitudeBut when i went the people who work there was nice and cleaning lady was super sweet . One problem was one racist lady that that kepted on staring at me and my family for no reason kepted on staring at us every move whispering it was very uncomfortable. Even walking every move she was just staring really nasty laughing rolling her eyes . We weren't even loud of bothering anyone we were in our own corner quiet she just kepted her eye on us .

The hotel has a great location but that’s where it ends. Much of it needs an overhaul.The suite we stayed in had a wet rug when we arrived, the room is musty. The bathroom fan did not work, the towel rack was broken and the bathroom needed a cleaning, especially the tub, I cleaned the floor myself.The bedroom rug needed cleaning, found hairballs on the floor around the beds. My daughter and I were coughing probably due to hidden mold, who knows what is growing under the wet rug.The people in the building we were in were rude because they took over all of the outdoor furniture and stayed outside drinking and partying until 1-2am. The place is like a combination of a frat house and a refugee camp. I will not stay there again, it wasn’t cheap either.Rooms: In need of a cleaning and an overhaul.

This place is RACIST. My family and I came in to rent paddle boards and Kayaks and management was just aggressive and nasty. We walked five minutes up the street to a different rental and the vibe was immaculate !! Save your money from this place.

We visited Lake George and stayed at the Marine Village Resort in 2021 and recently in late June 2023. This is a terrific vacation destination. The motel is kept up quite well and we noted many updates from 2021. The motel is well staffed and offers multiple amenities: heated pool, great beach, outdoor playground and games, kayaks for rent and prime location in the town of Lake George. The motel is a busy place with multigenerational families and friends enjoying their Adirondack vacation. If you are looking for a solitary and quiet vacation...keep looking. If you enjoy meeting people, having fun, and being around people with the same vacation goals you will love the Marine. Our trips to the Marine have been as a retired couple and we plan to return to the Marine.

King bed lakeside view. 2 people, room size small, but all we needed, will definitely come back. Room was clean, great price. Had a very nice stay met very nice people. Grounds/beach very well kept.Rooms: Clean, great price and perfect location.Food drinks: Enjoyed the pizza at Capri
