Back Street Bbq - Lake George

I'm normally someone who looks at reviews, so I saw this and got kind of excited. The 4.2 star review felt very misleading. The only notably good thing I have to say is that the food only took about 20 min to bring out. I got the brisket sandwich and potato salad. The potato salad was fine, but the sandwich was another story. It was inedible. I had to pull the pieces of meat off the sandwich and rip away at it with my teeth, and I had to give up after a couple of minutes because it was no use. Basically, imagine the worst roast beef sandwich you've had. I can practically guarantee that this was worse. Also, the sauce tasted like vinegar with a tablespoon of mustard. The only reason that I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the lady serving us was really nice.

Terrible dive bar. Most of my family got ribs and they were drier than a desert. You 'd assume a restaurant with such high reviews would be at least mediocre, but the food was awful. Felt as if I gave my two cents to the simpleton of a chef, I 'd get my head beaten in. Chef should quit his job, and instead the staff can just serve beer, because clearly that 's all they can do correctly. Don 't order any beverages that need a glass, because I wouldn 't be surprised if it wasn 't washed. The bathrooms were gross, and I doubt it was up to health code. The brainless, brawny chef is likely threatening the inspector to stay away from this dump.
