Genghis Khan Mongolian Bbq

The food at this restaurant is fresh and incredibly tasty. The Mongolian BBQ features a wonderful selection of healthy vegetable options, which is a big plus. We sampled the homemade potstickers and dumplings, and they were truly exceptional. Overall, the flavors are simply remarkable!

Today, my five coworkers and I had lunch at this restaurant. We experienced excellent service, savored delightful food, and met some amazing people. It's truly disheartening to learn that they will be closing in just 10 days.

As a big fan of Mongolian BBQ, I was on the lookout for a restaurant near my workplace and decided to give this one a try. My experience was just okay—not bad, but nothing exceptional either. They offered a selection of pork, chicken, beef, and lamb. While the meat was acceptable, I found the vegetable choices to be quite limited. The places I've enjoyed in the past had a much larger variety of veggies available, and this restaurant only had a small bowl of frozen jalapeños for any spicy options. The sauces were divided into light, medium, and dark categories; I assumed the dark one was intended to be spicy. However, as someone who enjoys spicy food, I was disappointed to see that they didn’t provide fresh garlic, ginger, or chili sauce. I had a similar letdown at another restaurant in Costa Mesa just last week. I suppose I might be a bit spoiled by the variety available in the San Gabriel Valley.

I'm a black woman and I went into this restaurant alone today andthere were two white ladies standing in front of me after that a white lady and her daughter came in after that an Asian family came in. this guy seated the white ladies in front of me after that he came back passed by me and seated the lady and her daughter came back and seated the Asian family. I said to him didn't you see me standing here before those other two families came in he said no I didn't see you standing there I will never ever come back to this restaurant I can already tell he's racist apparently because iI was standing right there! I will not eat where I'm not wanted???

Absolutely spectacular !!! Everything is so fresh and service is outstanding !!! We live in Billings MT but every time we visit family in CA, we always make our way to Genghis Khan in Lake Forest !!!
