Okanagan's Finest Grill - Lake Country

After a long walk in the sun from the park wood lake rv we thought here to eat a bite. we were of melanie who was so friendly and bubbly, she was an absolute joy. we order a few eggs and a few eggy. the eggs were delicious! we have nothing like it in Great Britain and I wish we have it! we will certainly return if we are in the opposite direction on our next Canadian adventure.

When I picked up the burgers from the area where you pick up food, the staff that treated the food did not wear a face mask. I was disappointed that they did not take any precautions.

Had the special, schnitzel burger with mushroom sauce and gurkensalat. when I had eaten 1 carving, I had eaten a thousand, that was right. hot and crisp, sauce...yum

We really enjoy eating here, but the people working there are short-tempered to the point of the unmut, especially the manager. And every time we ask for more salt, we are plagued by the girl who tells us briefly that there is already salt. on the fries. we know that! we like salt! also his brutally hot wait to place an order, or while he waits for it to be served. they need some sunshades or shady triangles to get the customers out of the sun as it can take a while to get their food. below line: the personal must cool out, they have a lot of customers who take a pleasant service and a place to protect from the elements.

In the past we have always enjoyed coming here but today was a completely different experience. We ordered (2) counterfeit burgers which turned out to be from Costco. I should know because I have the exact same ones in my freezer. It's a Costco black...bean burger which is NOT the same burger I had last year. For a place to brags about being unique I was really put off by this. We also ordered large fries which were not fully cooked. They were not raw but they were not crisp at all and we mostly white in color. Barely any seasoning at all and very bland even with vinegar poured on them. I mean seriously how do you screw up french fries? You put them in the basket, fry them and take out when golden brown. How hard is that? Only good item was the onion rings, but even then it seems they used to be seasoned better. What top everything off was the fact I paid good money and even gave the staff a tip (10 and received horrible food. Really sad. I won't be coming back ever again. There are way better places to eat in the area.
