The Buffet - Lake Charles

Wanted to Shaneesa front desk check in for hotel recognition for an awesome job! Kudos for her service here is very good but she went above and beyond with her friendliness and professionalism!

We had a lovely dinner. Food and drinks were great. Our server Carter, was great and took good care of us as well. Would definitely eat here again

I am extremely disappointed! When someone is traveling and decides to dine with you, only to find that you're closed, it's incredibly frustrating. I chose your restaurant for a reason, and it’s frustrating to discover that you aren’t open when your Google listing indicates you are. There was no buffet and no gambling available. I guess I’ll take my business to Le'B instead; maybe their buffet will be open tonight. There’s really no excuse for a casino restaurant to close on any day of the week when people are traveling through all the time.

We visited the Golden Nugget yesterday, and I must say it was a huge disappointment. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The service in the casino was practically nonexistent; you can sit there and play for hours without receiving any attention. As for the buffet, priced at $40, it felt like a complete waste of money. The food had no flavor—you could find much better options at any Chinese buffet.

The only good thing in the buffet is the oxtails and dessert menu, but overall not recommend for the price.
