Bord Du Lac Marina - Lake Charles

Bord du Lac Marina just reopened! Dock repairs have been completed! Woo hoo!

It is a very scenic walkway with great views of the lake Charles. There is ample amount of benches to sit down and enjoy the view. It is a perfect place to have a evening walk with your family or friends

Has a nice board walk area along the lake, lots of ducks, piers to fish from, picnic tables and lots of trees.

We enjoyed their military memorial with a Tank, Helicopter, Soldier and Memorial to the 5 Branches of the military. Bord Du Lac Park has a Splash Pad which would be nice in the summer. There are lot of nice monuments like the Flying Geese, Clock and Sailor. There's a good play area for kids. There's a great view of the Bridge on I-10. It seems pretty well maintained. In late November, they had already put up Christmas decorations. Bord Du Lac Park is a nice place to stop for a break from driving
