Tea Exchange - Lake Arrowhead

I went into this tea shop with great expectations, I was really hoping based on their wonderful website to like it more. Unfortunately, it is not worth a second visit. The service is what it ruined for me. I wait in the line to order tea and a crepe when I watched the girl in the cash register, which will get the older (white hair older) men before me an attitude for apparently not his order fast enough. After leaving, she tells me: “First he asks what it takes so long, then he is not even here when it is finished!” Ahem, I'm also a customer and of what I've seen, I'm on his side! She won't get empathy from me. But I was very nice to her because I was afraid that she would also speak badly from me to the next customer. So my order is called, and remember that this place is tiny, not much space to quickly move past people in line, I notice that she tries to bring my order to the end of the counter, I realized I was too long to move to it and decides my order at the other end of the counter with out as much as eye contact. So I have to manoeuvre my way through the confined space to get my crepe, just before another customer almost took it, because he assumed it was his, as she just pulled the plate away from him and went away. So I start seeing why the other gentleman was so frustrated. The service is simply sucked. The other woman behind the counter was not much better. I tried to make several decisions about loose leaf teas for Mother's Day gifts and I felt their growing impatience with any question I asked. I decided to cut my order into half and buy only the tea that was in my hand at that time, I felt really rushed. The food was average, nothing for... It was like a real TINY coffee beans tea leaf, nothing worth that drive. Overall, the visit was a "D" (a notch over a F because my tea was good). What the tea I bought was excellent! Pricey, but a real treat if you want to immerse yourself in a wonderful loose leaf mix. But I would avoid the trip and the posture and simply order online!!!

The tea is good – the service not-so-mouch – maybe they could install machines!!
