Comfort Inn Pocono Lakes Region

Could have been cleaner for the price paid (nearly $200 for the night). Stray hairs in bathroom, no soap in the shower dispenser so had to use the hand soap for both sink and shower. Beds fairly comfortable though and breakfast was more than adequate.Rooms: 3/5

The staff at the front desk were friendly, but they accidentally double charged me for the $25 security deposit. The entrance and surrounding area were beautiful. I was travelling with a service dog and we enjoyed being in the outdoors. However, the interior of the hotel was dim, unclean, and smelled of cigarette smoke. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so hopefully this will be addressed in the future. The carpet in my room felt dirty and grimy, also smelling like cigarette smoke. Unfortunately, my vehicle was broken into during my stay and there were no security cameras in place.

Front desk service was excellent. Haley was great with getting our room right away, and direction on where to park so it would be easier to get our bags into our rooms. The rooms were very clean, the bed was so comfortable, and the room was nice and cool when arriving on a hot day. The location was perfect because there was an IHOP and a gas station which was very convenient. I would stay here again and again.

Checkin was smooth and error free. The hotel is undergoing renovations that prevent anything hot from being served for breakfast. The renovated king bed room we got still smelled new. It was very clean, so kudos to the maid service. The bathroom was small, and the shower curtain was too short to reach down into the shower pan, so half the bathroom floor got flooded when showering. The towels were very thin and some were worn out badly. The provided soaps and toiletries were very poor quality. Overall, for the $170 per night rate, it was underwhelming. I am not sure what other options there are in the area, but don’t put this place high on the list.

Typical hotel and dog friendly. The first room we were allotted smelled strongly of urine but they very simply gave us another. There is definitely signs that they are pet friendly rooms- but I can't complain because at least they offer it at a reasonable price.Rooms: 3/5
