L A Cafe - Lake Ann

We gave LA Cafe another try after about a year of steering clear. At one time it was a bit awkward to hear the employees/owners bash the original owners to the other customers. Maybe unprofessional is the more appropriate word. We used to frequent this place regularly with family and friends back in the 80 's and early 90 's when it was FIRST opened as LA Cafe, and so I consider those owners the original owners. (Or even before that it was Mr. P 's) So hearing these people bash the original owners really irks me!Just small town politics I guess. But, I 'll get back to my review of our experience. Nothing has really changed here in the past year. Fairly priced. Menu could use some creativity. Food tasted average. Service and friendliness could use some work. Overall, just so-so.

Big portions. Over priced. Not friendly faces . I don 't know what crack your smoking, but these reviews are not legit.

I have ordered pizzas from the smallest to the biggest chain restaurants. I have paid high dollar and cheap for so-so pizzas. I don't mind spending money on good food. I'm disappointed when I order pizza when the toppings are skimpy, that is why I choose to order pizza at the LA Cafe. My pizza is made the way I would build it for myself. They run an everyday special on their large pizzas. One 16 in is enough is enough to feed four adults. their pizza should be considered gourmet.But everything is kept simple for an everyday appeal.Thanks to the affordable pizzas and specials my family enjoys pizza every week. good job L.A.

Nothing really changed here last year. good price. menu could use some creativity. eat average cost. service and friendliness could use some work. in total only.
