Hotel Cazes-Arazat

Many thanks to anne and family for my 2 overnight so comfortable. her hospitality was excellent, like my room, her service and eating wa top class. a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to recommend their hotel to anyone I know. art and wise united kingdom

Most other restaurants in the city were closed so this was our only option, but we were not disappointed. the place was packed, but our joviar, hard working server treated the amount competently and with a smile. our meal was simple, but well prepared and tasty...reflects the high quality kitchen of the region.

After 3 nights in a series of modern French foods it was refreshing to enjoy some simpler straight forward aromen. the steak with roquefort sauce and aligot a local speciality of kartoffels with cheese) was delicious. the salate of the confit with. a fresh baked pancake filled with vegetables was light and healthy. desserts were also good. very friendly service and our waiter spoke excellent English. we would definitely return!

Having read the reviews we were looking forward to a traditional Aveyron lunch. The lunch menu was very limited and unimaginative much as you would expect from a very average establishment. The pichet wine was undrinkable. First course I chose the vegetable soup which was...good although difficult to get through with a spoon as the cabbage was in large pieces. The Aubrac steak was a cheaper cut and was tough, the vegetables were over cooked and soggy. The decor was lime green, purple and floral far from the traditional cosy auberges we found elsewhere in the area.

Un accueil chaleureux, des repas entièrement faits maison avec souvent des légumes cultivés directement par la famille, literie de très bonne qualité et chambre et sdb nickel. Le tout dans un village sympa avec une tarification correcte et le sourire en plus.
