The setting is quaint, indeed full of suggestion, with vaulted ceilings, even an authentic ancient well, with a particularly eccentric décor pictures of animals in historical costumes and other oddities. Quite spacious inside, It was almost empty on a Saturday lunchtime. The first impact was chilly, literally. The temperature inside was even cooler than that outside. Although it was sunny, it was nonetheless winter, and we felt rather uncomfortable to start with. Fortunately, a very rich and tasty fish soup warmed us up. The kind service helped keep us from shivering as well. Maybe we 'll go again in summer.
Great food in nice setting. The staff was very nice too so we enjoyed a great dinner. Try the Arneis white wine, delicious. Food wise we had fantastic shrimps as starter, then tuna and seabass and a perfect panna cotta to round it up all very good!
Dinner with my family was a very good experience. We started with mussels in an arrabbiata sauce that was very good. One had the sea bass ravioli that was light and divine. One had the spaghetti del rio that was very grande and full of seafood. The other dish was a fish filet that was fantastic. We finished with a brownie and ice cream dessert that ended the evening on a sweet note. The service is always friendly, quick, and efficient. It is a family operated restaurant and you can feel it in the atmosphere. Highly recommended.
