L&l Hawaiian Barbecue - Lahaina

This is by far the worst food I've ever had. When I opened the box, I hoped it would taste better than it looked, but I was mistaken. Not only did it look terrible, but it also tasted just as bad. The rice seemed like it was leftover from ages ago, and the chicken was soggy, all drenched in what was supposed to be curry sauce. I will say, though, that the macaroni was decent. To the owners and cooks: please do better! That meal was way too expensive to be that disappointing, and I really dislike wasting money.

The food is absolutely delicious! The staff is outstanding as well! However, I recommend ordering the mini plate for one person.

I absolutely love the BBQ chicken from L&L. During our one week stay here in Maui, I’ve eaten the BBQ chicken three times for dinner. It makes me wish I had an L&L back home.

Good but there’s a workers kid about 10 years old who kept slamming doors around and messing around. Slapping his hands on the walls. It was over the top messing around.

In terms of price, it's good compared to nearby food trucks... I ordered a shrimp curry, chicken katsu combo, and a cheeseburger, and the chicken katsu was really delicious. It's a reasonably priced restaurant. They have a system where you can freely bring your own sauces, so I brought sriracha and chicken sauce... and ate it with other food items.
