Sakura Zen Japanese - Lahad Datu

The only Japanese restaurant in lahad datu, opened since 2016. it is a well hidden place that is fucked away in the Perdana area. the restaurant is quite large, with much seat for larger groups on the back. it is a filiale of tawaus sakura zen that goes back to its much older predecessor edo i zen so that they have a long history in Japanese restaurant business. the price class would be in the medium for Japanese food, so the quality is good for its price class and they have a very wide range of options in their menu. They can sushi, sashimi, nudel (soba, udon, ramen) bark dishes, chicken dishes or more modern takes like pizza. the taste is good and well prepared. if they want cheaper Japanese food, then they get the food, or plasticity / chew fish. So, this is a real Japanese restaurant with good and proper service, not a cheap one.

Sakura zen japanese restaurant is the only sushi restaurant in this small town lahad datu sabah. even if the only and in this small town, the service here and eat here is golden standard and five star service. looking for a great sushi experience? then don't look any further! just enjoy sakura zen!

The personal is okay. eating is okay. the load is ok. the price ok.

Service was good, price is reasonable ,foods was delicious and fresh and the quantity of the foods also okay...

By now everyone know that this is the only Japanese restaurant in LD. I love the garlic rice and everything is ok but the only thing is for the sushi. The sushi rice used is very sticky maybe can consider to make less sticky and no cream cheese change it to eggs and make it more affordable.
