Suenos - Laguna Beach

This restaurant is lovely, offering delicious food and excellent service. I look forward to coming back soon.

A friend of mine had visited Suenos and said it looked like a lot of fun, so I was eager to give it a try. My friend and I intended to sit on the patio, which is beautiful, but it was a little chilly for us, even with the patio heaters (not a complaint, just an observation). We did notice and mention a couple of times how cold it felt even inside the main dining room, so that's something to consider depending on the weather. We were there to catch up, so I wasn’t in a hurry, but the service was quite slow, and our waiter didn’t seem very familiar with the menu. I enjoyed a fantastic drink (each one seems to come with a shot on the side, which is a nice touch) and a tasty shrimp pasta dish. There were fire dancers performing, which was a fun and unexpected surprise for a Thursday night. I understand they’re new, so I'm hoping the service improves, especially considering the prices. Overall, I wouldn't rush back.

This restaurant was stunning. The music was fantastic, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The waitstaff was incredibly friendly and cheerful. The food was delicious; we shared all our dishes to sample more items from the menu. The beach was just a short walk away, and it's a family-owned establishment! It was a fantastic experience.

Nice atmosphere. Staff were visibly unhappy and hostess overwhelmed yet restaurant was not busy. An intoxicated woman walked in and sat next to us without being seated. She was then served only alcohol and disrupted the rest of our meal by spilling things and interrupting us repeatedly. The staff said nothing to her. We had to ask multiple times for silverware and couldn’t start our meal for 10 minutes after served because they forgot. Food was average. Lobster risotto was good. Tuna tartare served with 5 chips so we couldn’t finish it. We were not asked about dessert and the churros looked yummy! Asked for the check multiple times. Overall not the experience I hoped for :

Everything was wonderful. The outside live music was great, but a bit too loud for conversation.
