There's a reason this place is so highly rated. It's always busy-packed, especially for happy hour. Is it the most authentic East Asian/South East Asian food available in Orange County? Maybe not but that's not what people are here for. The atmosphere here has a cool vibe though it does get fairly loud so bear that in mind if you have issues hearing in loud spaces. Our server was very nice and made sure we had everything we ordered and our waters were full multiple times. Every sushi roll I've had here is great and the Spice ahi roll was no exception. High quality tuna and good flavor. The lobster spring roll, OG Vietnamese roll, and pan-fried dumplings were all fantastic. I thought the sauce that comes with the OG Vietnamese roll really levelled it up. My favorite main here is the seafood curry with coconut rice. The Szechuan prawns were great quality prawns though the sauce didn't do much for me. The spicy Thai basic beef had a nice flavor and is consistently great every time I've had it. 10 10 best gluten free sushi in town. Been coming here for years and the food, ambience service are exceptional. I am gluten free and finding sushi that I can eat can be tough. Starfish is OC's Gluten Free Disneyland PSA shoutout to the amazing staff and manager who informed me of this today: they will not longer be accommodating gluten free orders via third party apps due to quality assurance logistics. She explained why ensuring gluten free rolls via the app is not sustainable as their offerings can be a bit nuanced and with the way third party app orders come directly through the kitchen, it's not practical sustainable. That said, don't fret! Gluten free items can still be ordered via the phone for pickup. Just no more delivery via third party apps for gluten free items. (Delivery via third party apps still exists, just not for gluten free items. Sad news for us lazy gluten free folk who want their rolls delivered, but hey, it's a small price to pay for such AWESOME gluten free food! Thank you for existing, Starfish

Disappointed that I had to rate it average at best. Service was attentive and I didn’t think the food was overpriced considering the area. However the food was a big big letdown. Heres the thing. This food is on par with the local clientele and area. Alot of older folks. Alot of 75k and up vehicles. We had a couple of people come to our table and rave about the food and asked us how we liked it (I assume they were regulars) The Pho. Bar none one of the worst ive had zero flavor. Not subtle but zero. The Satay was bland. No infusion of flavors coming together. My wife had the Pad Thai and tasted her chicken and it was bland. About the only thing she recommended was the Crab Wontons Heres rhe thing. We just ate at Las Brisas two days ago and that was the Mexican version of this restaurant.
